The sister painting to Before the Eclipse....Lunar events have always been a source of excitement and fascination. Seeing the moon seemingly hold the sun's light, rather than flinging it back to us, was spectacular! There's something about a lunar eclipse that makes me feel so small and so special at the same time. It was like watching a friend experience a long forgotten joy. I'm pretty sure I cried, and then ran inside to try capturing my response.
