Frosted Sunrise in the Hay Field
11 x 15
A cold sunrise after the hay season. This nearby field was sitting dormant after the harvest, covered in frost and pale sunlight through the fog. I remember feeling sad about this resting field because the land had just been sold while it was asleep. When it wakes up in Spring, I'm not sure what the new owners have in mind for it. It has faithfully produced for generations and I'm so hopeful it will be allowed to continue.
