Near Olive Way

Another inspired piece from a trip to St. Simons Island, Georgia. Taking time away from the beach showcases the harsh beauty of the marshes. I always marvel at the way some portions of landscape declare themselves unattainable. The wildlife is safely tucked away there, but the marshes are 'unusable' in human terms of infrastructure or industry. Ironically, their value lies in their prickly, unforgiving character, that's so capable of radiating and sustaining life.
