The Gift
Creativity is one of my most treasured possessions. I was created, I have the ability to create, and I create often. The concepts and ideas that continually generate, gestate, and manifest are such amazing things if I spend time thinking about it objectively. I was given this ability. I was entrusted with it. It’s a constant cycle of emotional and mental energy that never stops, but it never drains me. It sustains me. My only response is to craft imagery in an attempt to express the things I constantly learn and see. The moon is always a source of amazement and awe, and it inspires my work continually. But even as I look up for that vast perspective to open my small thinking, I realize that as amazing as the moon is, it’s unable to create. My amazement is never diminished by this, but I treasure my ability to create more deeply with every encounter. I’m so grateful that this gift came to me.
