Lake at Dusk
19.5 x 27.5
A second view of a nearby pasture assumes a vast hillside near my current home. I pass by it nearly everyday, and I'm always struck by the large oak that serves as a meeting area for cattle at it's base. The cattle trust it's shade and the great oak never tires of it's duty.

It was lower in elevation than the ridge line that ran through the property, so I took the liberty of infusing a smaller version of the tree line behind the lake to still show off the Fall colors as the sun was setting. Sometimes you have to envision the landscape you want to see.
